Prezados e Prezadas,
Mais de 1500 pessoas são esperadas no Tribunal de Justiça em Turim no próximo dia 13 de fevereiro para o julgamento dos donos da ETERNIT. Entre os presentes, já estão confirmados 1200 vítimas e familiares, 120 advogados, delegações vindas da Bélgica, França, Suíça, Estados Unidos, Brasil e Inglaterra além de jornalistas do mundo todo. Para acomodar todos presentes, além dos dois grandes salões do majestoso Palácio da Justiça, será usado um auditório da municipalidade e o julgamento será transmitido em três línguas (italiano, francês e inglês) e poderá ser acompanhado pela internet (streaming).

E dopo l’annuncio che il Comune rinuncia ad accettare l’offerta di Stephan Schmidheiny, è arrivato in fretta il «giorno dopo», in cui sul risultato, sperato (da una cospicua fetta di popolazione, con molti famigliari delle vittime), ma per nulla scontato, in tanti vogliono appoggiare il vessillo della paternità. Un esercizio legittimo, ma che rischia, inciampando nei mugugni e nelle indignazioni, di rallentare un percorso che invece, ora, ha bisogno della somma di tutte le energie. Perché c’è un calendario fitto a cui far fronte. La data sicuramente più significativa e ricca di aspettative è quella di lunedì 13 febbraio: sono saliti a 23 i pullman di cittadini diretti a Torino per ascoltare il verdetto del processo Eternit in cui sono imputati lo stesso Stephan Schmidheiny (che non potrà esibire la transazione con il Comune di Casale, dopo il «no» annunciato venerdì dal sindaco Giorgio Demezzi) e il belga Louis de Cartier. In tutto, a ora, almeno 1200 persone, che partono da Casale (tra cui 300 studenti delle scuole superiori Balbo, Leardi e Sobrero), ma anche da Reggio Emilia, Novara, Padova, Bologna, più delegazioni della Thyssen di Torino e della ex Sia di Grugliasco, e tre fin dalla Francia. Saranno presenti, poi, 120 tra avvocati e collaboratori e modua, Bologna ltissimi giornalisti, cineoperatori e fotoreporter anche stranieri. Quindi, oltre alle maxiaule 1 e 2, saranno aperte l’aula magna (con 700 posti) e una sala nel vicino Palazzo della Provincia (300). L’udienza si potrà seguire in streaming da più siti Web: quindi molti si collegheranno in tutto il mondo.
